Naty Michele
The Basics: My full name is Natalie Caez and I live in the New Jersey/New York City area. I have a bachelors degree in Communications (specialized in Journalism) and a minor in English. Both writing and fashion have played a huge role through out my life. I've also been singing, recording and writing music since high school. I have two songs on iTunes.
The Personal Side: I lost my father to stage 4 colon cancer on August 25, 2010 and it changed my life completely. He passed away 3 months after his diagnosis. I had a very close relationship with him and till this day it's still hard to believe that he is gone. He inspired so many people including me and that is my daily goal: To Inspire. For awhile I felt like I had lost my way, but ever since I started this blog it has helped bring me back.
The Blog: I created A Love Affair With Fashion a year ago on December 4, 2011 in hopes to inspire other women with my own personal style. It started out as a new creative outlet for me. I was slowly transitioning out of the music industry and on some level felt that I was having an affair with fashion (hence the title) As you can see through my blog I don't care much about name brands. I try to show that you can still look good while shopping on a budget.
This blogging journey has been an amazing and humbling experience so far and turned into more than I ever imagined. It's enabled me to connect with thousands each day and share with them my own style and love for fashion. I am open to any opportunities that come my way and I really look forward to what the future holds for my blog.
